Activity one was to write a poem about if you were the first person or about the first person on New Zealand.Second activity was to choose 3 activity's from this link.I didn't do bonus activity.

SHS’s Learning Journey

For the next week were learning about New Zealand.We have to finish a document with activities for points and the top 3 people with the most points gets a prize. Are WALT Was to complete the learning journey and learn facts about New Zealand and we have seven days of activities so we well also be doing it next week. This is my slide. 

Bread Making

WALT - To Write a Recount about making bread with the correct structure and a hook. A few days ago at school nearly all the rooms all got to make and eat some bread for our inquiry which is healthy eating and we also read a book last week about bread making.then we got to do some writhing about bread making.

Fluffy Bread Making.

“GRRR” that's the sound of my angry scary stomach growling while everyone's getting their pieces of bread! Yesterday at school room 6,7 and 8 all got to make and eat some fluffy moist  bread for our inquiry which is healthy eating.We also read a book last week about bread making.

Firstly, we washed our hands to get all the annoying germs off our hands while Mrs Jack and Miss Goslin were getting the ingredients ready. The first ingredient we mixed were the dry things like flour, salt, yeast and sweet sugar then we mixed the liquid things they were water and oil.Then we put the liquids and the drys together in one silver bowl. We mixed the ingredients then, 1 or 2 long minutes passed and we had dough.

Secondly, we kneaded the smooth dough. We pushed and pulled twisted and turned the dough until it was ready to be put into a clean bowl.The reason we knead the dough is because we need to spread the air bubbles.  We put a tea towel over the bowl to let it rise for an hour until it was ready to be shaped into a beautiful shape. We had to put it into a really warm room  we decided room nine because that room had the heaters on for most of the day.

After an hour and a bit we grabbed it then shaped the dough into an oval shape.We put it in the warm oven to bake it was in there for around an hour and a half.Then I said excitedly “yay yummy tasty bread for everyone”. It tasted like what a cloud would taste like if someone ripped a piece off it was so fluffy and light and also really moist.Once I got a piece of bread I said “yummy I want heaps more”

Recount Writing 8D

WALT -  We are learning to write a recount using a hook in the Orientation and elaboration of 1 idea.For the week we were doing recount writhing with hooks and good editing.

CONTROLS CLICKING! is the sound of me playing Minecraft. During the holidays I was SOOOO bored I decided to play Minecraft on the Xbox with Logan, he was at his house and I was  at my house.

Logan messaged me on the xbox and said “Do you want to play Minecraft with me?” I said “Ok” he told me he also was playing with Sam and Josiah.But he wanted to play Minecraft. I messaged back and said that would be really fun.

After we were playing for a while he messaged and asked if we could go onto the microphone I said ok but “I'll see if i'm allowed first”. I messaged back and said i'm allowed so we talked about how we're sooo super excited for school because it was the sunday before we went back to school.

We played on heaps of different worlds on Minecraft but then we made a new one and we spawn and we found a mansion it was super big and amazing in the world it was surivival (survival) and every time we went in the mansion the monsters were there and they keepted making us die and we had to keep spawing in. We both had a little feeling that it was hunted (hauted).Around four weeks ago we wouldn't have found that mansion because it was in the latest update. The latest update come out not that long ago and it had heaps of cool amazing bright new blocks and different colored beds and that in mostly every world that's made has a mansion.

I had so much fun in the Holidays playing with Logan and some of my really super fantastic nice friends ,I love the Holidays and school so much they're both really fun but during the Holidays I messed school learning having fun with all my friends and teachers.

Shiny Snow Description

We were writhing down ideas on bits of paper from the pitcher that was on the paper.In our groups we come up with amazing ideas after we finished planning/writhing the ideas down. We got to pick one of the pitchers and describe what we think they were felling,hearing and seeing.

Shiny hot snow desert. Severe weather comes and goes as it pleases. Snow can be very bad.  

Mostly all she could hear was the sound of the wind crying, well it took her hair for a short fly. She could hear the sound of the ice crushing while she took steps with her heavy boots stomping. She likes the sound of Snow crunching also Icy Crystals breaking.

The white clouds and snow. A dessert full of snow, shimmers in the sun like golden sand.She could see in the descent that some of the snow was melting like an ice cream on a hot day.Over the bumpy hills she can see more to walk along.She sees the sun slowly dragging the clouds away.

Windy day she feels like her hat just going to blow off her head while her hair is flying around in her eyes.The shiny sun makes the wind feel a bit warmer.Far from her destiny she feels like she's been walking for five hours but its only mean half an hour.Once she gets home she's going tell everyone about her holiday but she wishes to have someone to come with her on this mysterious long hike holiday next time.

If I went on this hike I think I would b alot more fit. I don't even think I could do a walk that long for even 2 minutes.

This week in literacy we have been learning about  send a cow our  literacy group did reading activities about send a cow. And  everyone did a persuasive videos to persuade people to donate money to send a cow  i was in a group of three with Summer and Natalia.
