Send A Cow Persuasive Video

This week in literacy we have been learning about  send a cow our  literacy group did reading activities about send a cow. And  everyone did a persuasive videos to persuade people to donate money to send a cow  i was in a group of three with Summer and Natalia.

In writhing we have been learning about persuasive writhing.

We had to decide if Miss McLeod should get a cat or a dog for a pet.

We are learning about persuasive vocabulary and we had to highlight them in our work.

I think Miss McLeod should get a dog. Please read my persuasive writhing to find out why.

Paw TacticDid you know dogs can be your personal body guard?  I think Miss McLeod should get a dog for that reason.   I think Miss McLeod should get a dog because they're easy to train,  their playful and they are  really good friend’s.

Firstly you can train a dog to play fetch, sit and roll over and many other things. Another thing they could do is  shake your hand and  beg for food. Also you could train your dog to bring your newspaper or slippers to you when you don't feel like doing anything or having a lazy day.Another reason  Miss McLeod Should get a dog is they are really playful. They are playful by chasing their toys and tail.  They can play many types of games like fetch.Finally Miss McLeod Should get  a dog because they are really good friends. They will cuddly up to you when you're feeling down, when you're going to bed and you're all alone. They are at the end of the bed ready for a big warm cuddle. When you curl up on the couch and watch tv with your lovely fluffy dog it will keep you warm.Overall I think Miss McLeod should get a dog because they're good friends, they're playful and you can train them. So go and get your wallet and get to the closest pet store today.    

Walrus Writing

A few weeks ago we were learning about walruses and we had to watch a video that was a live walrus after that write a description and then we wrote this description.

Attempt 1 The walrus has a giant body and has giant tusks they look like giant sharp bananas that are used for killing animals to eat.Their bodies look like Wrigley brown and pink bears with pink bubbles.The bubbles are there to make them warm when they're underwater. and they have little nostrils that look like eyes. You can hardly see their eyes there head is smaller than their bodies it's a big difference because there bodies are as big as an epithet and there head is as big as a coconut  walruses look really creepy and are really big.

The other day we had some chocolate we listen to Mrs Mcguinniety opening the wrapper and snapping it we had to smell it taste it decbie it.  

Use lots of WOW words to describe your experience while eating the chocolate. Use your 5 senses.  - See, Hear, Feel, Taste, Smell

Attempt 1 Before I tasted the chocolate I was already excited.When Mrs Mcguinniety started to open the purple, white and brown rapper I was getting more excited.I was thinking “yum yum yum chocolate” i started to to drawled some more. I was getting super excited.   When she started ripping the rapper some more. I heard the rustling of the colorful wrapper. I was already dribbling like a dog and I didn't even have it in my mouth or near me. When she started to snap the big block of chocolate i heard the big CRACK! That was the chocolate. I saw the big block of chocolate that was not close to a block anymore.I saw Mrs Mcguinniety handing out the little pieces of chocolate. I had the biggest smile on my face  she got to me and told us that we had to look at it smell it and DO NOT EAT IT!.I saw the word cadbury carved into the chocolate.And yummy goodness. I smelt the chocolate it smells yummy like powdery chocolate milk I was looking forward to sticking it in my mouth.It allsowy smelt the yummy choclate cream i think.It allsowy smelt like coco poweder. I was nearly fainting looking at the yummy chocolate. I stuck it my mouth i left it in there for a few minutes. It was starting to stick to the roof of my mouth. It was sticking to my soliver. Yum yum yum i love chocolate.THE END
