Send A Cow Persuasive Video

This week in literacy we have been learning about  send a cow our  literacy group did reading activities about send a cow. And  everyone did a persuasive videos to persuade people to donate money to send a cow  i was in a group of three with Summer and Natalia.

Today since the choir was away we did the same activates we did yesterday and i chose to do the pattern one and here they are. 

Today since there weren't as meany people at school we had to play some fun games and this was one of the games and you have to add up the equation and then you get Christmas lights and you have to put them on the house.

Again for my learning today, I made a symmetrical picture. You could have different color options to make it with. You would click in certain parts of a diamond, and it would create a symmetrical effect. I used all of the colors. I really like how this turned out.

 Today for  our learning, since that we didn't have much people here today, we did some fun activities. I played a symmetry game with these paper snowflakes. I clicked around a bit, and then I got it to turn out like this. I really liked it. You just have to click where you want it to, then it will cut out.

Paw Tactic

In writhing we have been learning about persuasive writhing.

We had to decide if Miss McLeod should get a cat or a dog for a pet.

We are learning about persuasive vocabulary and we had to highlight them in our work.

I think Miss McLeod should get a dog. Please read my persuasive writhing to find out why.

Paw TacticDid you know dogs can be your personal body guard?  I think Miss McLeod should get a dog for that reason.   I think Miss McLeod should get a dog because they're easy to train,  their playful and they are  really good friend’s.

Firstly you can train a dog to play fetch, sit and roll over and many other things. Another thing they could do is  shake your hand and  beg for food. Also you could train your dog to bring your newspaper or slippers to you when you don't feel like doing anything or having a lazy day.Another reason  Miss McLeod Should get a dog is they are really playful. They are playful by chasing their toys and tail.  They can play many types of games like fetch.Finally Miss McLeod Should get  a dog because they are really good friends. They will cuddly up to you when you're feeling down, when you're going to bed and you're all alone. They are at the end of the bed ready for a big warm cuddle. When you curl up on the couch and watch tv with your lovely fluffy dog it will keep you warm.Overall I think Miss McLeod should get a dog because they're good friends, they're playful and you can train them. So go and get your wallet and get to the closest pet store today.    

We have been doing candler art for the past two days. First we had to take some photos that were black an white of the back of us painting. After that we practiced drawing the things on the picture I drawn a sun and two clouds. Then i showed Mrs mcg and she said " ok you need to paint " show i painted it then

Writing Sentences

In writing i have been learning about sentences.I have learnt how to write a simple and compound sentence. A sentence needs to have a capital letter and a full stop. It must have nouns.

  

Walrus Writing

A few weeks ago we were learning about walruses and we had to watch a video that was a live walrus after that write a description and then we wrote this description.

Attempt 1 The walrus has a giant body and has giant tusks they look like giant sharp bananas that are used for killing animals to eat.Their bodies look like Wrigley brown and pink bears with pink bubbles.The bubbles are there to make them warm when they're underwater. and they have little nostrils that look like eyes. You can hardly see their eyes there head is smaller than their bodies it's a big difference because there bodies are as big as an epithet and there head is as big as a coconut  walruses look really creepy and are really big.

Digi Awards 2016

 For Digi Awards I have been working on my entry, for this years competition.

The topic for the competition is Be The Change I have chosen to show this by making a Movie about how to stop bulling. Please feel free to leave a comment and make feed back. I learn't how to peace a movie together in I movie. The hardest part was using different shots in our video. 

For Digi Awards we learned about Be The Change. We made a movie to Be The Change for bullying because it happens all around the world. Our process for making this was easy at first, but it got harder because the camera angles changed heaps. We took turns at speaking and videoing. Our movie shows Be The Change by trying to inspire people not to bully and how to stop bullies.

The camera angles we used were… Close Up, Far Shot, Looking up, Birdseye View and All Character Shot.

Today at power time  we learnt about goal setting and writing smart goals and then we went away and wrote our goals in this doc below. we watched videos about them and then we talked about smart goals.

On be funky we change our hair and put heaps of things like classes and heaps. After that we went on thing link and put things about us on it.

The other day we had some chocolate we listen to Mrs Mcguinniety opening the wrapper and snapping it we had to smell it taste it decbie it.

Attempt 1 Before I tasted the chocolate I was already excited.When Mrs Mcguinniety started to open the purple, white and brown rapper I was getting more excited.I was thinking “yum yum yum chocolate” i started to to drawled some more. I was getting super excited.   When she started ripping the rapper some more. I heard the rustling of the colorful wrapper. I was already dribbling like a dog and I didn't even have it in my mouth or near me. When she started to snap the big block of chocolate i heard the big CRACK! That was the chocolate. I saw the big block of chocolate that was not close to a block anymore.I saw Mrs Mcguinniety handing out the little pieces of chocolate. I had the biggest smile on my face  she got to me and told us that we had to look at it smell it and DO NOT EAT IT!.I saw the word cadbury carved into the chocolate.And yummy goodness. I smelt the chocolate it smells yummy like powdery chocolate milk I was looking forward to sticking it in my mouth.It allsowy smelt the yummy choclate cream i think.It allsowy smelt like coco poweder. I was nearly fainting looking at the yummy chocolate. I stuck it my mouth i left it in there for a few minutes. It was starting to stick to the roof of my mouth. It was sticking to my soliver. Yum yum yum i love chocolate.THE END

rocky the dog story

Rocky the dog

Once there lived a adorable dog called Rocky. He lived in the wonderful frogs bottom field. The really hot  sun just went down to bed and they're all getting ready to go to their cozy  beds. one of the dogs were fluffing up their duck feather pillow he pulled it and punched it.Another dog was twirling around looking for a comfy place to sleep. A different dog was getting into his fluffy space pjames.

Everybody was asleep apart from the cute rocky. He Was trying to get to sleep so he tried different things like  ‘so maybe if it was dark I could get to sleep’ so he put his  yellow and black dotted pome pome with a orange background hat over his sparkling blue eyes but he was scared of the dark. ‘maybe i'm too hot’ he thought so he took off his soft  silky black and brown fur and then he mumbled away to himself  ‘i'm way too cold not hot’ so next he tried a pillow but it was a cute puppy so ‘maybe not’ after that he found a rusty blue car that was crammed by old disgusting dead bugs and moldy food and fat rats ‘yuck’ so he went into a hollow  tree but to many squirrels and spiders so he said maybe if i count something. He counted his strong feet ‘1 2 3 4’  not asleep  wide awake so he thought for awhile. ¨I know maybe I should count the bright glowing stars”  ¨1 2 3 4 5 6  7 8 9 10000000000000000 and 10 im still awake maybe 1 more time maybe i'll go to sleep“1 2 3 4  5 6 7 8 9 10000000000 and 10 not asleep im still wide awake  maybe if i count dogs “1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9” not asleep i nearly forgot the best dog  me 10 ”  (yawn) and that's rocky fast asleep zzzzzzzzzz. (Snower)  and then the sun awaked all the dogs woke and one. Was getting into its purple and pretty black clothes.another one was eating yummy dog bone crealy, a different one was making his cozy bed. They were all ready for their breezy day.
